much has happened since my last post…we’ve moved again…in the city of baltimore now. i got a job doing carpentry in the city…but…during the move i badly injured my left hand…almost severed my left index finger in the process. for now i can’t use it ’til the fractures and the lacerations heal. probably about six weeks…hopefully…so much for the job. i’m left handed, or was, in a few months i might be ambidextrous.
sorry for the poor typing…the shift key w/ one hand is too much work.
i’ve noticed that as the world spins around me barely giving me space to breathe that i can hear and see other’s gasps for air more clearly…wonder now how i missed them before
was listening to this song today…i could almost feel his desperation in my own chest…especially the underlined portions
On Razorblade Suitcase (1996) by Bush
Wherever you are
You will carry always
Truth of the scars
And darkness of your faith
Slowly move on
How did we get to here
It all went wrong
Gravity claiming all your tears
Everything looks so much better now
Looks so much better now
You will get yours
You will get yours
You will get yours
You have no right to ask me now
You were never that around
And I have missed
Reality daytrips
And your suit me, suit me ways
Turn out the light switch
We’ve been awake for days
And no one’s coming round here no more
No one’s coming round here
You will get yours
You will get yours
You will get yours
You will get yours
You will get yours
You have no right to calm me down
I have missed
I have missed
Cold contagious
All the mighty, mighty men
What you save is
What you lose out in the end
Cold contagious
Cold contagious
Paint your perfect day
I don’t mind this
I’m better off, by the way
Deeply grounded
You will get yours
You will get yours
You will get yours
You will get yours
You will get yours
You will get yours
Cold contagious
All the mighty, mighty men
What you save is
What you lose out in the end
Cold contagious
Cold contagious
Cold
Contagious
Cold
Contagious
i don’t have the answers for pain like that anymore…but i do have ears and eyes tha can perceive it.
how easy life and theology are when all we do is give answers but never ever listen to the questions
